My name is Noboru Akiyama and I am the founder and CEO of Jcom.
I was born in Japan and after graduating from university, I joined AIU Insurance Company. There, I was in charge of agency sales at the head office and took care of the training of trainees. Later in 1994, I joined the German insurance broker AON, where I was responsible for all Japanese companies and sales practices in Düsseldorf and Frankfurt.
After having gained profound knowledge and experience in Japanese and European insurance mechanism and the German business environment, I decided to start my own company in 2006: Jcom. One year later, I acquired the first Japanese EU insurance broker licence on the European continent.
By founding Jcom, I wanted to make insurance more accessible to Japanese people and assist them especially with risk advice.
From “Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof”, you can take the S5 in the direction of "Bad Homburg" or "Friedrichsdorf". Please get off at the station " Bad Homburg".
